This week Scott sits down to bring you a wrapup of his 2025 vacation, which he spent visiting historical sites in Newport, Rhode Island and taking a self guided walking tour from 1937. He also gives his thoughts on hyper temporal spacial alignment and the new film "28 Years Later"

Commodore matthew perry statue. he signed the treaty with japan. “Could you BEEE more japanese???”

The famous Gilbert Stuart Painting, or at least the copy of it by his daughter.

General Assembly room. lots of history here. it served as the summer quarters for the rhode island house of reps until 1900 as well as having a storied history back into colonial times.

the next few pics are from Castle Island state park in South Boston. The fort is called Fort Independence and was built in the late 1700s but the site itself has been a place of military staging since the 1600s.
